East Texas Foot Associates East Texas Foot Associates Nacogdoches, TX Nacogdoches, TX Full-time Full-time From $12 an hour From $12 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Duties - Greet and check-in patients, verifying their personal and insurance information - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department - Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and deductibles - Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic systems such as eClinicalWorks - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed Qualifications - Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners Job Type:
