org Position Summary Responsible for receiving calls /orders from patients, taking meal orders, keying the information accurately into the computer system and transmitting the meal information to the kitchen for timely production, exhibiting professionalism, & excellent customer service.
Position Duties (Not all Inclusive) Demonstrates competence mastering the function of the software in orders to take room service meal orders from patients.
Demonstrates competence mastering the room service ordering process.
Demonstrates competence knowledgeable of the general foods and condiments allowed on the regular and modified diets.
Demonstrates competence in snack orders, standard rotation according to patient diets and preferences, printing snack orders as instructed.
Demonstrates competence in safely operating and cleaning equipment at the work station.
May float to other areas of dietary as needed.
