Candidate must have a great, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Candidate will engage with the current activities of the Marketing Department and assist with the tasks required to accomplish those goals.
Candidate will coordinate company-wide customer appreciation events, such as bass tournaments and golf tournaments.
Main duties include tracking entrants and sponsors, creating name badges, arranging caterers, booking lodging for volunteers, coordinating print collateral and filling in the details that will mesh the event together.
Between events candidate will assist in production of various marketing collateral such as advertisements, flyers, brochures, banners, layouts for social media posts and layouts for branded materials as needed.
In addition to other employees, candidate will work with people in partner companies to complete marketing tasks and accomplish department goals.
Candidate is willing to be cross-trained in various tasks throughout the department, in an effort to identify hidden aptitude and growth potential.
Candidate will help generate potential customer mailing lists for new areas and lead generation discovery for existing areas.
Candidate will assist in other marketing initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
Experience organizing professional events.
Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks to completion before deadlines on a continual basis.
Candidate should be comfortable using Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Ability to travel when necessary, minimal travel is expected for this.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
