The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a busy environment, and enjoy learning new things.
No experience required but preferred.
Main duties include:
Greeting patient and gathering all demographic information Asking patient to complete any necessary paperwork Scanning ID and insurance cards, entering insurance information into account Checking patients in accurately and in a timely manner Collecting co-payments or previous balances and setting patients up with a financial counselor when necessary Communicating with patients with the utmost patience and empathy Preparing paperwork and reviewing schedules in preparation for the next day Communicating issues and questions to management when appropriate Maintaining patient confidentiality Learning and keeping current on insurance company requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance Manage incoming referrals.
Answer multiple line phone system.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
