The primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to clients by managing the intake process, assessing client needs, and coordinating appropriate placements.
This position will supervise Intake Specialists providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and excellent client care.
This position requires strong leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise, manage and ensure collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement standardized intake procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, SSCC contract timelines, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
Oversee the intake team and placement team, providing training, guidance, and supervision to ensure accurate and timely completion of intake assessments and all placement activities.
Collaborate with other departments to establish and maintain effective referral systems and communication.
Lead the assessment process to determine the specific needs, preferences, and goals of clients.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify appropriate services, resources, and programs for clients.
Ensure that assessments are thorough, objective, and conducted with sensitivity and cultural competency.
Collaborate with other departments, managers, case managers, and external agencies to identify suitable placement options for clients based on their assessed needs.
Coordinate the placement process, including coordinating transfer logistics.
Monitor the progress of placements, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring appropriate support is provided to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client intake, assessments, and placements using designated systems and databases.
Generate reports on intake and placement statistics, trends, and outcomes to inform program evaluation and decision-making.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intake and placement processes, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Foster positive relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and community partners to facilitate effective collaboration and resource sharing.
Participate in meetings, committees, and working groups to contribute to organizational planning, policy development, and program improvement efforts.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field of study.
3 years of experience placing children and youth with families.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Clearances.
State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation.
Working Conditions Physical Demands.
Requires vision, speech, and hearing and a moderate level of physical activity including; sitting, standing, walking lifting and carrying as required.
