Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of Room Service Meals to patients within the 45 minute delivery guaranteed time.
Responsible for the return of dirty meal trays and carts to the dish room.
Deliver between-meal snacks to patients and distribute nourishments and floor stock to the patient care areas.
May provide Break relief for Hospitality Associate and/or Facilitator positions.
Assist with other work activities as assigned.
Position Duties (not all inclusive):
Serves as a role model for the department and ensures the highest level of customer service at all times.
Completes other duties as assigned Distributes room service meals to the appropriate patient within guaranteed delivery time.
Retrieve food trays from patient rooms and from soiled utility rooms on each floor.
Check the soiled utility room for any dietary items needing to be returned to the dietary department.
Return soiled equipment to the dish room.
Deliver paid guest trays and collect money.
Turn money in to the Cafeteria Cashier.
Gather and Deliver supplies to each Nursing Station per the procedure for supply requisitioning.
Deliver supplements, nourishments, and snacks to each patient to meet the needs of the patients/diet order.
Cover break periods for the Hospitality Associate and the Facilitators as assigned.
Monitor temperatures of equipment and food in accordance with quality control and HACCP Standards.
Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen area, all food storage areas, and all equipment in accordance with sanitation standards.
