Summary:
The Maintenance Worker I is responsible for operating and repairing hospital heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems, performing mechanical, carpentry, painting duties and repair and services to medical equipment as needed.
Position Duties (not all inclusive):
Inspects and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external trades persons.
Maintains repairs, cleans and operates the plant, shops, mechanical areas, exterior grounds and campus facilities.
Performs a variety of other unskilled s such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, lamp changing and drywall maintenance.
